Effects of Lanshen Jiangzhifang on blood lipid in hyperlipidemic mice

Objective To explore the effects of Lanshen Jiangzhifang on blood lipid of mice with hyperlipidemia. Methods The hyperlipemia mice were molded by continuously feeding high-fat diet.The effects of Lanshen Jiangzhifang on blood lipid in hyperlipidemia mice were observed. Results Lanshen Jiangzhifang could decrease the content of TC (P 0.05 or P 0.01),TG (P 0.05 or P 0.01) and LDL-C (P 0.05 or P 0.01),and increase the level of HDL- C (P 0.05 or P 0.01),at the same time,it could decrease atherosclerotic index (AI) and hepatic index ( P 0.01) remarkably.Conclusion Lanshen Jiangzhifang can protect liver,regulate blood lipid and prevent arteriosclerosis.
