The invention discloses a device and method for operation fault diagnosis and safety pre-warning for a medium-low pressure fuel gas pressure regulator. The device for the operation fault diagnosis and the safety pre-warning for the medium-low pressure fuel gas pressure regulator comprises two pressure measurement transmitters, a field data recorder, and a data processing and fault diagnosis main unit. The two pressure measurement transmitters are arranged on a pipeline on one side of a medium pressure fuel gas pipeline and a pipeline on one side of a low pressure fuel gas pipeline respectively, and the data output ends of the two pressure measurement transmitters are connected with the field data recorder. According to the working modes, offline fault diagnosis comprises the steps that the field data recorder is in timed connection with a mobile type data unit to transmit field data, and then the field data are copied to the data processing and fault diagnosis main unit; online fault diagnosis comprises the steps that the field data recorder transmits the data to a data communication unit connected with the field data recorder, and the data communication module sends the data to the data processing and fault diagnosis main unit in a wired communication mode or a wireless communication mode. The device and method for the operation fault diagnosis and the safety pre-warning for the medium-low pressure fuel gas pressure regulator can achieve the technical effects that the safety data of the medium-low pressure fuel gas pressure regulator are collected and processed in real time, and faults are diagnosed automatically.
