Testing and analysis of the Decisional Support System ProdPlan

Decisional support systems are instruments, which values the newest informational technologies. This instrument is design to crop production planning on the farm level. Testing this instrument was achieve based on a complex methodology by four subjects. The methodology used is the following: general and detailed presentation of the instrument, presentation and visualization of the results, effective test of SSD ProdPlan and fulfilling a questionnaire by the subjects. The results of the test are very interesting and point out: the need of the program, highlighting weaknesses and the clarity and quality of results provided by SSD ProdPlan. The main conclusion of the study is that: it is necessary to try turning the instrument on the decision support systems market in Romania.
