Unification and Harmonization in True Color City Image Map

This paper studies and analyzes the application of chromatics and aesthetics to the optimization for image map designing with regard to unifying and harmonizing of map elements.Finally,taking the Image Atlas of Guangzhou as an example,an adopting scheme to solve problems in image color adjustment,road network presentation,and symbol designing is put forward.
