The invention relates to a method of manufacturing a cage for a rolling bearing, the cage having a body made of a cured, fiber-reinforced resin matrix being formed in the body pockets for receiving rolling bodies, comprising the step of wrapping a winding mandrel (1) with the harzbenetzten fibers (2). The object is to provide a method of manufacturing a cage formed from a cured, fiber-reinforced resin matrix, wherein the cage for high speeds is more suitable, is according to the invention for the initially mentioned method characterized in that on the winding mandrel (1) at the location of the pockets placeholder (4, 4 ') are arranged, and that the fibers (2) in the place holders (4, 4') are led past.
