A sound-enhancing system comprising a plurality of modules (6-11) that each have a specific function and are connected to a management system bus (3) and a digital audio bus (2). When the system is on board an aircraft, it coacts with the "aircraft" bus. The system is useful for achieving audio equipment uniformity.
