The invention relates to a spring system for a wheel suspension of a vehicle wheel (20) of a motor vehicle, having a the structure (24) or on an auxiliary frame (26) and on a wheel suspension element (14) supported on the bearing spring (18) and with a first actuator (34) to provide an active suspension in driving operation for dynamic load cases. According to the invention a second actuating device (30) is additionally provided with which the vehicle body (24) for a static level regulation is lowerable or raisable.
