The invention provides a soft electrode electrical discharge machining device based on liquid metal and porous ceramic. The device comprises a soft electrode; the soft electrode includes the porous ceramic and the liquid metal; the porous ceramic is provided with a blind hole; the liquid metal is arranged in the blind hole; and the liquid metal permeating out from the porous ceramic is a tool electrode. The device has the following beneficial effects: the liquid metal serves as the tool electrode, and is put in a porous ceramic blind pipe; because of the effect of the porous ceramic, the liquid metal can permeate out from the porous ceramic to attach on the external to form the soft electrode; after once discharge is finished, the liquid metal at the top can be slightly worn; then, under capillary effect, new liquid metal can be continuously permeated out to guarantee continuous discharge; and the porous ceramic dose not participate in spark discharge, so that the shape of the tool electrode cannot be changed, the loss problem of the tool electrode is preferably improved, and the machining precision is improved.
