Robust Design Strategy of Quantized Feedback Control

2019
This brief studies the quantized feedback control problem for uncertain systems. A novel two-step design strategy with on-line updating the quantizer’s dynamic parameter is proposed to guarantee the prescribed $\mathcal {H}_{\infty }$ performance attenuation level for the quantized closed-loop system. The design strategy allows the controlled output to include the control input signal and the external disturbance. The design condition for the feedback controller and the quantizer’s parameter is given based on the linear matrix inequality technique. Finally, an application on the two-mass system is provided to illustrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed theoretical results.
