Shift lever of a motor vehicle transmission

A shift lever of a vehicle is provided which comprises a knob and a rod which is detachably connected with the knob in one step. A first link member and a second connecting member are disposed on the knob or on the bar and electrically connected to each other, when the knob and the rod are connected. The first connecting element is mounted in the knob and the second connecting element is detachably attached to a tip side of the rod. A connecting housing fastens the second joint member detachably attached to the tip side of the rod and a conductive member having a second connecting element attached to the first end is inserted into the rod and accommodated therein.
