Factors Influencing Production of Siderophore from Pseudomonas C-12

Absorption spectrometry was used to study the influencing factors of siderophore production from a strain of Pseudomonas C-12,so as to exploit and utilize Pseudomonas C-12 in further.The results showed that siderophore had a specific absorption peak at 416 nm wavelength.And it also showed that 1 μmol/L Fe3+ in the medium was the best for Pseudomonas C-12 producing siderophore.The different culture conditions had noteworthy effect to secretion of siderophore by Pseudomonas C-12.The most suitable siderophore-producing medium was MSA with the conditions of temperature 32℃,nitrogen source proline,carbon source sucrose,C/N 3∶1 and pH 6.0.
