Laser transit-time anemometer for diagnostics of extended high-temperature flows

1986
A laser transit-time anemometer for diagnostics of extended high-temperature flows with a low concentration of heterogeneous particles was developed. The upper limit of the measured velocities is several hundreds of meters per second. The useful signal was separated and the transit time was determined by the method of delayed coincidences. Data collection and analysis are completely automated. The results of measurements of the spatial distribution of the velocity of the working body at the outlet from the MHD channel of the U-25 setup are presented.
