Zeebries Multi Client 3D: Enhanced exploration potential from new high quality 3D data in the Northern Carnarvon Basin — Australia's most prolific hydrocarbon producing basin

2013
Abstract The Zeebries 3D reveals potential for further discoveries in this part of the Northern Carnarvon Basin as an extension of the existing active petroleum system along the Rankin Trend. The improvements in seismic data quality and coverage have the potential to considerably improve interpretation of the Triassic-Jurassic fault blocks, where reliable data is crucial to detailed prospect evaluation. Integration of the Full Bandwidth Simultaneous Inversion products provide the tools to guide interpretation, produce more meaningful correlations and refine fault and horizon interpretations. The inversion volumes have the potential to make qualitative predictions of reservoir quality and distribution.
