A microscopic calculation for the 6Be scattering system

Abstract A multichannel reaction calculation for the 6 Be system has been performed in the framework of the cluster model reaction theory. Apart from the 3 He + 3 He fragmentation also three particle structures have been approximately taken into account. The results for elastic 3 He + 3 He scattering and the 3 He + 3 He → 5 Li + p reactio n are compared with experimental data.
