The article deals with a problem of identifying potential markets of innovative space products and services. The authors analyzed, identified the major contemporary trends in the global space market and formulated the main directions of development of the Russian Federation in the field of international innovation cooperation in the space sector. In order to explore the potential regional foreign markets of innovative space products and services they used a method based on the cluster analysis of the socio-economic development of countries and regions
