Study Progress on Hypoxia Inducible factor-1 and Chemoradiation of Tumor

Under the hypoxia environment,Hypoxia inducible factor-1(HIF-1)is activated in tumor cell.The activated HIF-1 can regulate the expression of downstream target genes,compel the alteration of tumor biological behavior.The expression level of HIF-1 changes with the alteration of oxygen concentration of microenvironment.HIF-1 is expressed specifically in hypoxic cells and correlate with the resistance to chemoradiation.It can be regarded as prognostic indicator for tumor therapy.
