Research on the Control Method based on Virtual Synchronous Machine Technology of AC/DC Distribution Device

This paper proposes a control method based on virtual synchronous machine technology of AC/DC distribution device, including DC voltage loop, power loop, AC voltage loop and current loop. The control method helps multiple sources and AC/DC loads integration. The AC/DC distribution device can emulate the characteristics of synchronous generator, including primary frequency modulation, primary voltage modulation, inertia and excitation characteristics. To improve the dynamic performance, the AC voltage and current dual-loop is cascaded after the power loop. In the whole process of operation, the energy is exchanged through DC bus and the DC bus voltage is stable. The simulation validates the proposed control strategies.
