Effect of Insect-proof Net on Fruit Characters of Litchi chinensis Sonn.

Trees of litchi cv.Nuomici were netted with transparent nets to investigate the effect of insect-proof net on fruit characters.The results showed that insect-proof net had no effect on fruit rate.The size and weight of single fruit increased significantly.The eatable rate and total soluble solids increased too,while the content of titratable acid decreased.
