The determination of phosphorus(III) by Karl Fischer reagent

1969
Abstract Karl Fischer reagent oxidises and can be used to determine tervalent phosphorus in substituted phosphines, metal complexes, and tertiary phosphonium salts. An excess of pyridine is sometimes required. There is no reaction with quaternary phosphonium salts or derivatives of quinquevalent phosphorus.
