September 1995 Eurostar, Graz, started production with Chrysler's Voyager. On basis of the Powder Antichip used for rocker panel application of the Jeep Cherokee at Chrysler, Detroit, BASF developed a Fullbody Powder Antichip. Within a few months the plant was launched to the planned capacity of 250 jobs per day. High o.k.-rates and a high class appearance are due to an excellent production results. With powder reuse the yield is close to 100%.
