Adonde los pies me lleven: artistas ante la migración

This paper is the memoirs of the exhibition “Con la casa a cuestas. Miradas migrantes”, part of Proyecto Caracol. The display consisted of 36 photographs submitted by 15 artists from around the world. It was conceived with the intention of bringing to light the abundant culture and heritage as a result of themigration processes. The centerof the exhibition focused on set aside the negative stigma that has been built upon this process in recent years. Therefore, each one of the pho-tographs enlighten the contributions of immigrants to the receiving culture. This presentation was able to show how spaces, traditions, food, language, art and everything else, benefits from migration. With the exhibition we affirm these aspects in different cities and realities where migration has its own history.
