Breaking of supersymmetric degeneracy by trilinear soft terms

Abstract A simple formula for the soft breaking of supersymmetric degeneracy with an arbitrary self-adjoint tensor is derived. This is done in the limit of a small SUSY breaking scale as compared with the GUT scale. It is shown that the standard minimum is never favoured for the 75-dimensional representation. All results are shown to be valid for a general softly broken theory.
