Preparation and Quality Control of Silver Nanoparticle Cream

OBJECTIVE:To prepare Silver nanoparticle cream and to establish quality control method of it.METHODS:The O/W cream was prepared with silver nanoparticle as principal component by emulsion process and the particle size and distribution of cream were investigated.ICP-MS method was used to detect the content of principal component.The stability test of cream was conducted.RESULTS:The particle size of cream was about 15.2 nm in narrow distribution.The average content of silver in cream was 20 μg·g-1.The index of stability test had no apparent change.CONCLUSION:The formula and technology of cream are simple and feasible.Prepared Silver nanoparticle cream has good stability and controllable quality.
