This study aimed to evaluate the functioning of human resources as well as providing advice and recommendations from the findings of the weaknesses found in Sawahlunto Post Office. Human resources acivities studied include: recruitment, selection and placement, and training and development. This reseacrh is a qualitative descriptive study. Data collection method used in this study is interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis method used is qualitative analysis by describing the assessment on the human resources function based on the comparison between the conditions, criteria, causes, consequences. Based on the research that has been carried out, it is known that the activity of the human resources function that has been running well, but still found some weaknesses in the recruitment, selections and placement, and training and development.
