Valve structure for the plunger pump

2001
PURPOSE: Plunger pump valve structure is provided to install a valve block operating as a connect circuit between a suction valve and a discharge valve by flowing the fluid, to improve response property by continuously operating suction stroke and discharge stroke, and to release impact between the suction and discharge strokes by filling fluid into the valve block. CONSTITUTION: A valve structure of a plunger pump comprises a suction chamber(6) mounted on a pump block(4); a valve block(52) forming a pumping chamber and plural suction holes(62) on the suction chamber; a discharge valve(40) elastically supported by a spring(32) by being installed on a discharge chamber of the pump block and face contacted to an adherent portion of the valve block; a suction valve(58) supported by a spring(72) to contact to an adherent portion(32) of the valve block; a head case(26) connected to the pump block by communicating the suction hole and the suction chamber; and a discharge hole(36) communicated with the discharge chamber. The plunger pump discharges suction fluid with high pressure by reciprocating movement of the plunger. Thereby, the valve structure of the plunger pump improves response property of the valve and efficiency of the pump by continuously operating suction stroke and discharge stroke.
