The multilayer laminate used in particular as reinforcing element of a finished article or a semi-finished rubber product such as a tire, comprising at least a polymer film having, regardless of the pulling direction viewed in the plane of the film, a Young's modulus which is greater than 500 MPa, said film being disposed between and in contact with two rubber composition layers such as natural rubber, characterized in that each layer of this rubber composition, in cross-linked state, a secant tensile modulus, at 10% elongation, which is greater than 30 MPa, preferably between 30 and 150 MPa.
