The Aip Photometric Testbench

A versatile laboratory test facility is described which is particularly useful for characterizing optical detector properties under well-controlled conditions. Moreover, as a generalized light source, it can be used for a large range of applications requiring calibration, stability, repeatability, and automatic control.
