A computer program for the peripheral pulse wave

Abstract A computer program has been written to analyze the peripheral pulse wave. The points and distances selected for measurement include not only those of known significance, but also many whose importance is not known at present. It is hoped that large population studies can be performed with the aid of this program to determine the prevalence of peripheral arterial obstruction and to obtain more information about the normal range of variation of the pulse wave.
