Performance analysis of AlGaN-LED for D-UV emission

In this paper, a design of AlGaN material based UV LED is presented whose emission gives the radiations of 2950 A. For the designed UV LED, the power spectral density, flux spectral density and total luminous power has been calculated and the outcomes are analyzed. Numerical results show that the designed LED is actually useful for D-UV (deep-ultraviolet) applications.
