Computer analysis by lens array for uniform illumination

Lens arrays can be used to improve the illumination uniformity of high power laser targets. In this paper the optical fields of the targets are analyzed by computer and a star-shaped array arrangement is proposed. This array produces denser interference fringes of the optical beams in two dimensions and improves the illumination uniformity.
