Technical Feasibility of Sequencing a Mammalian Genome by ＄1000

To reach the goal of ＄1000 for sequencing a mammalian genome,a variety of progresses have been obtained in the past years.The present paper discussed the possibility of different strategies in approaching the goal of the ＄1000 genone project.The potential application of on/off switch in biochip sequencing is also discussed.
