Lesions in monkeys as function of radiation dosage. [Gamma radiation, Macaca rhesus]

This study was conducted on 54 Macaca rhesus monkeys exposed to uniform ..gamma..-radiation at the rate of 230-250 R/min. Mortality as function of dosage was studied; severity of the primary reaction, overall severity of the radiation lesion and changes in peripheral blood indices were evaluated.
