Antibacterial compositions, antibacterial glaze compositions and antimicrobial articles

The invention provides antibacterial compositions, antibacterial glaze compositions and antimicrobial articles. The antibacterial compositions contain silver-containing powder and silver-containing glassy powder, wherein the silver-containing powder contains silver components composed of one or two of metallic silver and silver compounds, and glassy powder of the silver-containing glassy powder contains 0.01- 50 % by mass in terms of the metallic silver of silver components composed of one or two of the metallic silver and the silver compounds. The antibacterial compositions can improve antibacterial property, and reduce amount of the contained metallic silver and silver compounds.
