Primary Study on Producing Feed Yeast Using Spent Liquor from Mushroom Processing

Utilization of the spent liquor from mushroom processing as material to produce feed yeast was primally investigated.The results showed that Geotrichum candidam was the best strain for feeding-protein fermentation with this spent liquor.Yield of feed yeast was 13.04 g/L under suitable fermentation conditions.
