Preparation of Enalapril Maleate Dispersible Tablets

Objective To prepare enalapril maleate dispersible tablets. Methods By using single-factor and orthogonal test, the prescription of enalapril maleate dispersible tablets and the preparation process were optimized using disintegration time as index. Results MCC∶lactose=1∶2, 5% PVP K17 alcohol solution and 7% Libeng were chose as filler, adhesives, and disintegrants respectively; Enalapril maleate dispersible tablets prepared using optimized prescription and technology meted the requirements of Chinese Pharmacopeia 2010. Conclusion Compared with conventional tablets, enalapril maleate dispersible tablets showed noticeable advantages of rapid disintegration and easy to prepare.
