On Wilson's Idealism and Political Practice

Wilson's idealism is the ideas and beliefs of the 28 th United States President Woodrow Wilson on international relations and foreign policy. Reflected in the "Fourteen Points principle," and four principles of American diplomacy he proposed. The idea stems from the Christian faith, the British liberal political ideology and social control theory.On the occasion of the end of World War I,He hoped that the transformation of international relations with the idealistic thought, establish American hegemony in the 20 th century novel, and make every effort to put into practice,led to the establishment of the International Union. Wilson's idealism and the League of Nations,there are some major flaws,The outbreak of World War II declared the failure of the League of Nations. However,Wilson's idealism is still the starting point for the development of modern international relations theory recognized,have a profound impact on future generations of American diplomacy.
