Regulation of Resveratrol Prodution by Precursors and Elicitors in Cell Culture of ‘Pinot Noir’

2012
Two precursors (L-phenylalanine and cinnamic acid ), two abiotic elicitors (colchicine and β-cyclodextrin), and one signal elicitor (salicylic acid) were added to solid cultures of Vitis vinifera L. to study their effect on production of resveratrol. 30 mg/L was the optimum concentration of the two precursors for its production in the calli; 30 mg/L, 40 mg/L, 20 mg/L were the most suitable concentrations of salicylic acid, β-cyclodextrin and colchicines for that, respectively.
