Error Analysis of Linear-Feedback Shift Registers

Based on a Walsh-function representation of shift registers, a method for analyzing the output errors due to random noise is presented. The transient and steady-state behavior at the output of a linear-feedback shift register with respect to stochastic noise inputs is examined. An example is included.
