Waterproof component and electronic device

The invention discloses a waterproof component and an electronic device. The waterproof component comprises a first shell, a sealing element and a second shell. The first shell comprises a substrate and a first side wall extending from the periphery of the substrate, and the outer end of the first side wall defines one opening. The sealing element seals the opening to form a waterproof sealing chamber with the first shell. The second shell covers the sealing element and comprises a second side wall matched with the first side wall in structure, and a sealing structure is formed between the second side wall and the first side wall. In the waterproof component of the embodiment of the invention, the sealing elements seals the opening and forms the sealing chamber with the first shell, and an electronic component of the electronic device can be contained in the sealing chamber, so that waterproof effect of the electronic device is realized. The sealing structure can prevent water from entering the sealing element, so that the waterproof effect of the electronic device is further improved.
