Backlight module and backlight system using backlight module

The embodiment of the invention discloses a backlight module. The backlight module comprises a sunlight collector, an optical fiber, a lamp strip, a light mixing strip and a light guide plate, wherein the optical fiber comprises a light incidence end and a light emergence end which are opposite to each other, and the sunlight collector is used for tracking and collecting sunlight; the light incidence end is connected with the sunlight collector to transmit the sunlight collected by the sunlight collector to the light emergence end; point light sources and the light emergence end of the optical fiber are arranged on the lamp strip; the sunlight collected by the sunlight collector enters the light mixing strip from the light emergence end of the optical fiber, is mixed, then falls upon the light guide plate and finally is diffused into a uniform surface light source. Light emitted by the point light sources is used as a backlight source to compensate the chromaticity deficiency and the brightness insufficiency of the collected sunlight.
