Additional Dendrochronology Dates from Nottingham Tree-Ring Dating Laboratory

2008
The University of Nottingham Tree-Ring Dating Laboratory (now the Nottingham Tree-Ring Dating Laboratory) has been undertaking dendrochronological analysis on buildings since the 1970s. In the majority of cases we have published our results. However, for various reasons, a number of the sites dated by the Laboratory were not published in Vernacular Architecture at the time and it is now felt appropriate to publish these. A summary of these dated sites appear in the table below, with additional details for some. When returning to these old sites it was found that the amount of information provided about individual buildings varied greatly. To supplement the sometimes sparse information held by the Laboratory it has been possible to refer to the individual building's listing description (www.imagesofengland.org.uk). Further information in the form of Laboratory Reports (NTRDL Reports) can be provided for most; contact details can be found on our website (www.tree-ringdating. co.uk).
