resection instrument for internal tissues of the human body. It comprises an element (18) which can bend and which can be a wire that leads from the electrosurgical current. The element (18) protrudes from a hole (22) located at the distal end (13) of a tube (11). The tissue is cut and coagulated by the element (18) while the instrument is rotated. Application particular for the treatment of benign prostatic hypertrophy.
