Goods storage equipment of the present invention has: a conveying device for conveying a conveying container relative to a plurality of storing parts; a control device; and a supply state detection device for detecting a supply state of an inert gas relative to the plurality of storing parts; wherein the control device determines whether the inert gas is supplies correctly according to detection information of the supply state detection device, distinguishes prohibited storing parts which are determined to not supply the inert gas correctly and permitted storing parts except for the prohibited storing parts, and manages the plurality of storing parts; the control device performs conveying processing used for retreat, and conveys the conveying container contained in the storing part which is switched from the permitted storing part into the prohibited storing part to the permitted storing part.
