lasers in pediatric dentistry

Lasers have provided alternative treatments for pediatric dentistry patients. The patients will appreciate the dental treatments of which reduction of amount of local anesthesia and treatment time and post-operative comfort.This article reviewed the application of lasers in soft tissue, hard tissue and resin curing techniques. The advantage and disadvantages of these were also discussed in terms of alternative application for pediatric dentistry patients. Key words : laser / pediatric dentistry
