Propagation of Cosmic Rays in the Galactic Halo with Self-Excited Waves

We present a simple self-consistent model that allows us to obtain parameters of the Galactic cosmic rays halo. We demonstrate that the size of the halo depends on the energy of cosmic rays, monotonically approaching a constant value at high energies. In this model, the high-energy halo size is determined by the characteristic size of the ionized gas component of the Galaxy.
