Interlingualer Wissensaustausch in der Wikipedia: Warum das Projekt noch kein (Welt-)Erfolg ist und von Möglichkeiten, dies zu ändern

Wikipedia provides knowledge in many languages on the Internet. Little known is that the individual versions of Wikipedia are largely autonomously and independently from each other. They differ generally in size and number of articles. Even articles to identical headwords vary significantly in terms of their length, structure and content. Interlingual knowledge exchange could be the key to transfer idle information. This article describes the current situation, shows existing approaches and gives a summary of WikiLINC, a new concept for transferring knowledge among the separate Wikipedia's.
