This article discusses the relation between internalism and externalism on the basis of a commentary on the target article of Linde Medina's ”Natural selection and self-organization: A deep dichotomy in the study of organic form,” Ludus Vitalis, vol. XVIII, num. 34, 2010, pp. 25-56. A different model to analyze biological form is formulated.
