A method of processing a container (2) by plasma for depositing on an inner face of the container (2), a barrier layer, said method comprising the steps of: - after the extinction of the plasma, perform a thermal image of the container (2); - compare the thermal image of the container with a thermal image stored reference; - if the thermal image of the container (2) differs from the thermal image reference, modifying at least one of the following parameters: internal pressure, external depression, debit precursor gas, frequency of microwave, power micro -ondes, duration of treatment.
