Dimer absorption bands in KCl + TlCl mixed phosphor

Abstract Kubelka's method has been used to record the absorption spectra of KCl: Tl phosphors prepared by grinding, and their dependence on the thallium concentration has been studied. With increasing thallium content, between 200 and 300 nm, absorption bands are obtained at 222, 260 and 271 nm, in addition to the A and B bands.
