Inviscid incompressible flow around inlets

A panel method for the incompressible flow around aerodynamic inlets is presented. The inlets may be plane, plane symmetric or axisymmetric. The flow is determined by the forward inlet velocity and a specified mass flow. Results of an accuracy comparable to solutions of the full potential equation are obtained at a much lower computational cost. Thus the method presented is suitable for optimization procedures
